
A New York real estate finance firm is agreeing to a $5.3 million settlement to compensate people whose personal information was involved in a data incident.
SitusAMC Holdings Corporation’s claims site says the November 12th of 2025 incident involved unauthorized access and exfiltration of data from its systems. About 662,796 people were sent notice.
The settlement offers class members up to $5,000 for documented out-of-pocket losses with proof. Those without proof may receive an estimated $75 cash payment on a pro rata basis with an extra $50 available for qualifying California residents.
All class members are eligible for one year of credit monitoring through CyEx Financial Shield Complete.
SitusAMC denies any wrongdoing and says the incident has been contained with no ransomware involved. The court has not decided in favor of either side.
Claims are due November 6th of 2026. A final approval hearing is set for November 11th of 2026.
