July 12th, 2026 – Limassol, Cyprus
LEVERAGED, a proprietary trading firm empowering anyone to become a trader, announced the conclusion of the 2026 Leveraged Cup, a worldwide trading competition where participants competed to secure the highest percentage return regardless of account size.
Sebastian, known in the competition as Cassius, won the $20,000 grand prize after securing first place in the live Final Four finale. He advanced to the final stage shortly before qualification closed and went on to overcome an early setback before taking the lead in the final minutes.
The Leveraged Cup attracted thousands of participants from around the world and ranked traders by percentage return. Removing account size from the scoring criteria, the competition was designed to ensure access to capital did not determine the outcome. Participants were judged on their ability to generate returns, manage risk and perform under pressure.
The four highest-ranked traders advanced to a live 90-minute Sprint-to-Cash finale, where each finalist competed under the same conditions. Matthew, trading as MattyNortz, Yasin, trading as YasinTrades, Sebastian, trading as Cassius, and Alamin, trading as Alamin98, each earned their place through their performance on the competition leaderboard.
“The Leveraged Cup shows that trading ability can come from anywhere,” said Tal Fromchenko, Founder and CEO of LEVERAGED. “With account size removed from the equation, the competition was about discipline, decision-making and execution. Thousands of people entered, four earned their place in the live final, and the winner proved their determination and trading prowess to claim the win.”
The $20,000 prize was distributed live during the broadcast, with the winner describing it as “the biggest trading win of his career.” He had also secured four Sprint payouts during the wider competition, capturing the many ways participants could benefit from their performance throughout the event.
The competition was built around LEVERAGED’s Sprint format, an accelerated route to funded trading. Traders must reach a 2% profit target during the evaluation stage before progressing to a funded account, where they trade using company capital and retain 80% of the profits they generate.
The format reflects LEVERAGED’s mission to reduce the barriers that prevent aspiring traders from developing and demonstrating their abilities. The company combines funded trading opportunities with structured risk rules, practical education, daily webinars, market analysis, one-on-one coaching and AI-powered trading tools.
LEVERAGED operates in more than 150 countries and has enabled over 50,000 portfolio managers to participate in its funded trading programs. The company has processed more than $100 billion in trading volume and offers multiple account formats, including Sprint, Turbo Trade, Classic and Crypto Challenge.
