Bitcoin\u2019s (BTC) bull market is maintaining strength according to key metrics while displaying clear signs of fatigue after reaching an eight-month high.<\/p>\n

The market confirmed its bull market status with a close above the 365-day moving average, says<\/a> CryptoQuant.<\/p>\n

The analytics platform adds that CryptoQuant\u2019s Bitcoin Bull Score Index remains at 90\/100, which it notes as an \u201cextremely bullish\u201d signal.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, CryptoQuant says BTC is flashing signs of exhaustion as traders\u2019 on-chain unrealized profit margin reached 33%, the highest level since December 2024, leaving a large pool of gains available to realize.<\/p>\n

\u201cHistorically, stretched margins have preceded selling and downward price pressure.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Profit-taking has already begun, with 25,700 BTC realized in profits on September 22nd, marking the largest single-day total of 2026.<\/p>\n

Demand is cooling as well, with apparent spot demand contracting by 170,000 BTC over the past 30 days and futures demand growth slowing from 164,000 BTC on September 14th to just 16,000 BTC currently.<\/p>\n

Support levels remain well-defined below current prices at the 365-day MA near $80,000, the 200-day MA around $71,000 and traders\u2019 realized price at $67,000.<\/p>\n

CryptoQuant says the bull trend stays intact as long as these hold.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe bull market is intact \u2014 but the rally is cooling. Last week\u2019s close above the 365-day MA confirmed a new bull market as CryptoQuant\u2019s Bitcoin Bull Score Index sits at an extremely bullish 90\/100. Yet after an eight-month high of $87.4K several signals suggest the rally is losing momentum and a pullback could follow.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Looking at altcoins, exchange inflows of coins other than BTC also spiked sharply to 76,000 transactions and 51,000 depositors over seven days, the highest since October 17th, 2025.<\/p>\n

\u201cA surge in deposits typically signals distribution.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
