At the end of the night, the TikToker told the server about a $30 birthday promotion coupon.<\/p>\n

The restaurant briefly asked for an account number the creator did not have, but the discount went through.<\/p>\n

The date\u2019s energy shifted after the bill was settled, with fewer jokes and less affection.<\/p>\n

The next morning, a text said she had a good time but did not want another date, calling the coupon situation embarrassing.<\/p>\n

The creator called and hit voicemail, then found they were blocked everywhere they checked.<\/p>\n

A friend called the coupon a turn-off, and commenters split on whether using it on a first date was cheap or fine.<\/p>\n

\u201cPulling out a coupon on the first date is definitely a turn off.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
