A longtime Wells Fargo customer has lost nearly $10,000 after an alleged unauthorized wire left his account, and the bank has denied his fraud claim.<\/p>\n

Lloyd Waldron of Bozeman, Montana, a 50-year Wells Fargo customer, says he saw confirmation emails for a wire he never started, reports<\/a> KULR8.<\/p>\n

Waldron says the trouble began in August while he was at his computer, and suspicious-activity alerts later hit his phone after the wire confirmations.<\/p>\n

Says Waldron,<\/p>\n

\u201cSomehow, somebody has gotten into Wells Fargo and convinced Wells Fargo that they should get some of my money\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n

Why am I getting the suspicious activity report after I\u2019m getting confirmation of a wire transfer that I didn\u2019t initiate?<\/em><\/p>\n

In early September, Wells Fargo sent Waldron a hold-harmless agreement that he says would release the bank from liability for the lost funds.<\/p>\n

Waldron has not signed it and is seeking legal counsel after the bank denied the claim.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt has been absolute chaos, gut-wrenching chaos from the stress\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n

I have very low confidence from what I have heard from Wells Fargo that I\u2019m going to get my money back.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

KULR8 reached out to Wells Fargo, and the bank has responded saying it is going to work with Waldron to amend the situation.<\/a><\/p>\n
