The number of tokenized stock holders on Solana<\/a> have crossed the 800K mark this past week. According to data from Blockworks, there are 801,439 tokenized stock holder addresses as of September 12. At the start of the month, this was at 424,894. That is an 88% increase in less than two weeks.<\/p>\n

To put things into perspective on how fast this growth has been, the metric took more than a year to go past 300K addresses. Two weeks in September alone added close to 400K.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The easy explanation of this growth can be attributed to retail finding onchain equities. The mechanics point to somewhere else.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Launchpads Are Handing Out Stock Tokens\u00a0<\/h2>\n

Last week on September 9, Pump.fun shipped custom pairs. Creators can now launch a coin priced in a tokenized stock instead of SOL, and the trading fees on those coins get paid out in the stock token rather than SOL. Another launchpad,\u00a0 StockFun, has a similar setup.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

So a trader buys a memecoin, the fees route back in tokenized Nvidia or an S&P 500 token, and that wallet now shows up in the holder count. No brokerage decision happens anywhere in that chain. The equity exposure arrives as a byproduct.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Money Moved Far Slower Than The Wallet Count\u00a0<\/h2>\n

Tokenized equity supply on the network hit a record $684 million and up around 47% in about three weeks. The holder count grew much more in a shorter timeframe.\u00a0<\/p>\n

When we do the math of $684 million across 801,439 addresses, that works out to an average holding of $850. This suggests fee distributions and smaller speculative buys which is what the launchpad mechanics produces at scale.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It\u2019s important to note here that number of addresses does not mean number of users. One trader running five wallets counts five times, and launchpad activity tends to spawn wallets rather than consolidate them. The 800K figure measures distribution more than it measures people.<\/p>\n

Real Listings Kept Arriving in the Same Window\u00a0<\/h2>\n

Nike went live as a tokenized equity on September 8. Galaxy Digital started letting its shareholders tokenize stock on Solana on September 3, which belongs in a different category because the issuer is involved rather than a third-party wrapper building synthetic exposure.<\/p>\n

Both feed the same holder count and the memecoin flow is inflating. Genuine onchain equity demand is in that 801,439. So is a fee-routing side effect. The chart does not separate them, and neither does anyone quoting the number.<\/p>\n
