Disney is preparing to pay $50 million to settle claims that it helped push up prices for live TV streaming.<\/p>\n

Qualifying YouTube TV and DirecTV Stream subscribers have until September 8th of 2026 to file.<\/p>\n

The claim form is on the official settlement site,\u00a0says<\/a>\u00a0the notice in Biddle v. Disney.<\/p>\n

The class covers people who paid for YouTube TV or DirecTV Stream, including DirecTV Now and AT&T TV Now, from April 1st of 2019 through March 31st of 2026. FuboTV subscribers are not in this deal.<\/p>\n

The suit alleged Disney used its hold on Hulu and ESPN to lift prices across the live-streaming market. Disney denies any wrongdoing.<\/p>\n

Payouts are pro rata based on how long someone subscribed, after fees.<\/p>\n

The net fund splits 90 percent to residents of repealer jurisdictions and 10 percent to other states. A final approval hearing is set for January 14th of 2027.<\/p>\n
