FinWise Bank is settling claims from a data breach by agreeing to pay $2.8 million to eligible customers.<\/p>\n

The agreement covers U.S. residents whose personal information was exposed, says<\/a> the official settlement notice.<\/p>\n

Class members may claim up to $5,000 for documented losses traceable to the breach or a pro rata cash payment from remaining funds, plus two years of three-bureau credit monitoring.<\/p>\n

The official notice states the terms of the resolution.<\/p>\n

\u201cA $2,800,000 settlement has been reached in a class action lawsuit against FinWise Bank, FinWise Bancorp, and American First Finance related to a Data Incident experienced by FinWise Bank on or about May 31, 2024.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Claims must be filed by October 29, 2026, via the settlement website or by mail to PO Box 4390, Portland, OR 97208-4390.<\/p>\n

Payments to approved claimants are expected about 90 days after final approval.<\/p>\n
