The S&P 500 (SPX) is in the midst of a raging bull run as the index more than doubles its value in less than 10 years.<\/p>\n

Data from the Kobeissi Letter shows<\/a> that the S&P 500 is on track to shatter the record seen during the post-war boom by the end of this decade.<\/p>\n

\u201cUS stocks are having one of their best decades in history: <\/em>The S&P 500 has gained +141.0% so far since the end of 2019. <\/em>If this pace continues, the index will finish the decade with a cumulative gain of roughly +277%.<\/em><\/p>\n

This would rank as the 2nd-best decade on record, trailing only the +316% return posted during the 1989-1999 Dot-Com Boom. <\/em>This would also surpass the +257% gain seen during the postwar boom decade of 1949-1959. <\/em>By comparison, between 2010 and 2020, the S&P 500 returned +190% following the 2008 Financial Crisis.<\/em><\/p>\n

The 2020s are shaping up to be one of the greatest decades in US equity market history.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

The Kobeissi Letter also says<\/a> it is keeping a close watch on gold and silver, assets that are soaring after the US Treasury Department announced<\/a> Treasury buybacks.<\/p>\n

\u201cGold and silver added a combined +$1.3 trillion in market cap after the US Treasury\u2019s announcement this morning.<\/em><\/p>\n

The Fed can no longer contain yields, and the US government cannot afford higher yields.<\/em><\/p>\n

Asset owners will be the only winners.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
