US President Donald Trump took to Truth Social<\/a> to announce that the Strait of Hormuz<\/a> is now fully open for passage \u2014 a declaration that came hours after Iran\u2019s Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, confirmed the waterway would be unblocked for all commercial vessels during the remaining period of the US-Iran ceasefire.<\/p>\n

Trump Weighs In As Bitcoin Climbs<\/h2>\n

Bitcoin reacted fast. The leading cryptocurrency jumped sharply after Araghchi\u2019s announcement and rose above $78,000 \u2014 its highest mark since February.<\/p>\n

At the time of reporting, it was trading around $78,151<\/a>, up nearly 5% on the day, according to CoinMarketCap data.<\/p>\n

Reports indicate that Iran views the Lebanon ceasefire<\/a> as validation of its broader position in the talks. A resolution to the wider conflict, if reached, would likely be seen as a positive signal for Bitcoin and the broader crypto market. For now, the price reaction suggests traders are pricing in a degree of cautious optimism.<\/p>\n
