One of the few analysts who accurately called Bitcoin\u2019s 2025 top says that he\u2019s starting to buy BTC<\/a> again.<\/p>\n

The pseudonymous analyst KillaXBT tells<\/a> his 180,000 followers on X that Bitcoin is likely nearing a market bottom after its massive decline since October, and he is now accumulating BTC.<\/p>\n

However, he warns that Bitcoin may trade sideways until September.<\/p>\n

\u201cBTC has already corrected 51% from its highs, and I believe the most we might see is another 10%-15% downside before a macro bottom forms. When investing and scaling into spot, I don\u2019t focus on catching the exact bottom, I scale gradually as opportunities present themselves\u2026 <\/em><\/p>\n

My swing short from $72,800 is part of this strategy. I may take scalps in between, but in terms of macro perspective, I estimate another four to six months before we reach a full bottom. This also means we should be prepared for increased chop. <\/em><\/p>\n

So yes: as a trader, I\u2019m shorting from the highs; as an investor, I\u2019m gradually accumulating. Two strategies, different goals, same market. To be clear: as a trader, I\u2019m trading the trend; as an investor, I\u2019m gradually buying into the spot market.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

The analyst also says<\/a> he expects Bitcoin to eventually break through its current all-time high of about $126,000, which BTC hit in October 2025.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy next swing will likely be a long to new highs. The time for swing shorts is over.\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n

Bitcoin is trading for $67,723 at time of writing, flat on the day.<\/p>\n
