The company says the audit will cover reserves backing its USDT stablecoin, which holds a market capitalization of more than $184 billion and serves over 550 million users worldwide.<\/p>\n

Tether describes<\/a>\u00a0the review as one of the largest inaugural audits in the history of financial markets.<\/p>\n

It will examine a complex mix of digital assets, traditional reserves, and tokenized liabilities, along with internal controls, financial reporting and overall operations.<\/p>\n
