The EEA Privacy Working Group brings together leading organizations across the Ethereum ecosystem to provide clarity on available privacy technologies and support enterprises evaluating their implementation.<\/p>\n<p>Initial contributors include <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.appliedblockchain.com\/\"><strong>Applied Blockchain (Silent Data),<\/strong><\/a><strong> <\/strong><a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/linea.build\/assets\"><strong>Consensys (Linea)<\/strong><\/a><strong>, <\/strong><a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/coti.io\/\"><strong>COTI<\/strong><\/a><strong>, <\/strong><a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/blockchain.ey.com\/technology\"><strong>EY (Nightfall)<\/strong><\/a><strong>, <\/strong><a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/polygon.technology\/\"><strong>Polygon<\/strong><\/a><strong>, <\/strong><a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.paladinprivacy.org\/\"><strong>Kaleido (Paladin)<\/strong><\/a><strong>, and <\/strong><a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.zksync.io\/\"><strong>ZKsync<\/strong><\/a>, representing a diverse coalition of enterprise solution providers, protocol teams, and privacy innovators working across multiple privacy approaches and deployment environments. The Ethereum Foundation PSE and IPTF are also contributing \u2013 presenting the Ethereum Mainnet privacy roadmap.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cPrivacy is one of the biggest remaining blockers to serious enterprise adoption of Ethereum. The Ethereum Foundation\u2019s Privacy &amp; Scaling Explorations (<a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/pse.dev\/\">PSE<\/a>) team and the Institutional Privacy Task Force (IPTF) are focused on advancing open, interoperable privacy building blocks across the stack. We\u2019re excited to see the EEA Privacy Working Group bring the ecosystem together\u201d said<strong> Mo Jalil<\/strong>, Institutional Privacy Lead at the <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/ethereum.foundation\/\">Ethereum Foundation<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The working group will focus on mapping the current landscape of enterprise-relevant privacy solutions across Ethereum mainnet and Ethereum Layer-2 networks, helping institutions better understand how different approaches address operational, regulatory, and business requirements. This collaborative research orientation reflects a broader shift toward ecosystem-level knowledge sharing as organizations move beyond experimentation.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThe formation of this Privacy Working Group reflects the market\u2019s shift toward real institutional deployment\u201d, said <strong>Redwan Meslem<\/strong>, Executive Director at the EEA. \u201cOur mission at the EEA is uniting ecosystem leaders to coordinate privacy innovation and preserving Ethereum ethos while meeting enterprise-grade confidentiality, compliance, and scalability requirements.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>As part of its work, the group is developing an upcoming publication that will offer a structured overview of privacy approaches and implementation considerations for financial institutions and enterprises considering Ethereum-based solutions. Due to the rapid development of this technology, this publication is expected to be updated twice a year.
